A Look Back at the NYC Flanno Run
With bike racing on hiatus until the 2023 road season kicks off, we’re keeping ourselves busy with off the bike training. Running has always been one of our favorite cross training outlets, from Scott’s Half Marathon regimen to all of the other NYRR events on the calendar.
But a few weeks back we added something new to the mix - Scott drew on his Melbourne roots to host the first annual NYC Flanno Run to raise money and awareness for Movember. Which is how a bunch of cyclists wound up dressed in flanno, plodding through a 5K in Brooklyn with the Manhattan skyline as the backdrop.
